My Parents 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration

We all thought (okay...struggled with) how to celebrate my parents 50th Anniversary.  We could have a large or small party, invite a few, some or all the relatives, we could have a open house or many other possibilities.  One thing that kept being a theme in all those ideas was that we should celebrate as a family together.  With a party, some of us would be worrying about the guest list, the caterer, the wine, the food, etc....and not focusing on what was really truly important...being together as a family and celebrating as a family.  In the end, we decided all to come to Cleveland and just simply enjoy being together...just that simple.
